Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Roscoe & Romano collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use Doctogenic. Doctogenic is an educational website for medical students and other learners.

This policy applies to information collected through Doctogenic websites, accounts, subscription features, support communications, and related online services.

Effective date: June 17, 2026

Information we collect

We may collect account information such as your name, email address, account identifiers, authentication status, and settings associated with your Doctogenic account.

We may collect subscription and billing-related information, including the type of subscription you choose, subscription status, transaction identifiers, and billing events. Payment card details are processed by our payment processor and are not stored directly by Doctogenic.

We may collect technical information such as device type, browser type, approximate location derived from network information, IP address or masked IP-derived location data, pages visited, performance information, error logs, diagnostic events, security events, and timestamps.

If you opt in to analytics, we may collect usage and interaction information through Google Analytics, Microsoft Application Insights, and Microsoft Clarity. This may include pages viewed, navigation paths, browser interactions such as clicks and scrolling, device and browser information, performance signals, diagnostic events, heatmap data, and session replay information on pages where those tools are enabled. We configure these tools for analytics, diagnostics, security, reliability, and site improvement, not behavioral advertising.

How we use information

We use information to provide and maintain Doctogenic, authenticate users, manage subscriptions, process access to paid content, provide support, diagnose technical problems, improve site reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We may also use aggregated or de-identified information to understand how Doctogenic is used and to improve the organization, reliability, and usefulness of the site.

Cookies and similar technologies

Doctogenic and its service providers may use cookies, browser storage, or similar technologies that are necessary for account authentication, security, session management, subscription access, checkout, payment processing, and site reliability.

Doctogenic uses Google Analytics, Microsoft Application Insights, and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site, diagnose errors, measure performance, monitor reliability, review aggregate behavioral analytics such as heatmaps and session replay recordings, and improve the user experience. These services may use cookies, browser storage, or similar technologies for measurement, diagnostic telemetry, and session analytics.

Analytics and performance-measurement technologies are not required to use Doctogenic. Doctogenic requests consent before loading optional analytics tools or using analytics cookies, browser storage, or similar non-essential analytics technologies. You may reject non-essential analytics and performance-measurement technologies and still use the site. You may also reopen Cookie preferences from the site footer to change your analytics choice.

After you opt in, Doctogenic and Microsoft may collect and use Microsoft Clarity data to understand site usage, review heatmaps and session replay recordings, diagnose errors, monitor reliability, and improve the service. For more information about how Microsoft collects and uses data, visit the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Doctogenic does not enable Microsoft Clarity on account, purchase, billing, checkout, Stripe-related, or admin pages. We also mark page areas that may display direct identifiers, account details, billing identifiers, feedback text, gift codes, or similar user-specific information so Clarity masks them where Clarity could otherwise be present.

Doctogenic does not currently use cookies for behavioral advertising or cross-site retargeting. If we later add advertising, retargeting, or other non-essential tracking technologies, we will update this policy and, where required, provide appropriate notice, consent, or opt-out controls.

Service providers

We use third-party service providers and analytics providers to operate Doctogenic. These may include providers for cloud hosting, authentication, payment processing, email, monitoring, security, error logging, performance measurement, and analytics, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Application Insights, Microsoft Clarity, and Google Analytics where configured.

These providers may process information as described in this policy and their own terms and privacy notices, including to provide their services, comply with legal obligations, protect their systems, and maintain service reliability.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers, when required by law, to protect Doctogenic and its users, to prevent fraud or abuse, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Doctogenic, maintain account and billing records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may contact support@roscoeandromano.com to request help with account access, account correction, subscription questions, or privacy-related requests. You can use Cookie preferences in the site footer to change your optional analytics choice. We may need to verify your identity before responding to certain requests.

Children and minors

Doctogenic is intended for adult learners and is not directed to children or users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or users under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
