Subscription and payment details

New subscriptions start immediately and remain active for at least one monthly billing period.

If you add paid subjects or upgrade from individual subjects to full Step 1 access, the added access starts immediately. Any prorated amount due for the rest of the current billing period is charged immediately, and future renewals continue on the normal monthly billing schedule.

Upgrading from individual subjects to full Step 1 access is treated as an immediate upgrade. The immediate charge is based on the prorated difference between the full Step 1 monthly price and the amount already paid for the current billing period.

Downgrades, including removing subjects or changing from full Step 1 access to individual subjects, take effect at the next billing cycle. Your current paid access remains available until the end of the current monthly billing period.

“Canceling” a subscription means turning off automatic renewal. It does not remove access immediately and it does not shorten the current paid month. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period, then it will not renew.
